Lynda's ring

To celebrate her 60th birthday, Lynda decided to have a very special jewellery piece handmade. Something she could pass on to her daughter in the future, the perfect family heirloom. Lynda searched for the perfect diamonds with the help of another jeweller in Northern Ireland. The diamonds were absolutely stunning and about 0.5ct each.

My job was to bring them together and make a ring that would also hold 3 small diamonds inside the band, which belonged to Lynda's engagement ring.

I decided to work around the stones and carve the ring in wax to avoid weak points. I wanted her to have a solid piece to hold the three beautiful diamonds.
