The ring George made for Jo

George came to the studio wanting to do something brave, something deeply personal. He wanted to propose, but not with a ring bought from a shelf or designed by someone he'd never met. He wanted to make it himself, by hand, from start to finish. And not only that, he wanted to use diamonds from his grandmother's engagement ring.
The workshop lasted 5 hours and we worked together through each step, the carving, the refining, the decision-making, but it was his hands that gave the ring its shape.
The video captures just a few seconds of that day, but the memory is much bigger than that. This ring carries history. It carries love. And now it carries the moment where one story eneded and a new one began.
I feel very lucky to have been part of it!
