Morné got in touch about a pair of earrings for Caroline as an anniversary gift. He didn't have a design in mind, but he knew he wanted fire opals on white gold.
I made every single element by hand, no wax carving this time. Just white gold shaped and soldered into settings and hooks.
It's the kind of work you can't rush. Precise, delicate, and unforgiving if you get it wrong. But when it comes together, it's worth every hour! Truly one-of-a-kind.
